Context
Between March 2017 and November 2018, I worked as a motion designer at the Brazilian agency Betminds, creating animated graphics for a very diverse range of clients.
Some of these pieces were built to explain a product or a service, others were shorter, punchier animations made for social media, meant to grab attention in a feed and reinforce each brand's identity.
For each project, I illustrated the scenes in Adobe Illustrator and animated them in After Effects, working from the client's brief and existing brand guidelines. After leaving the agency, I made a few other motion graphics projects as a freelancer.
Below I present a few examples of my motion graphics works, including some of the pieces I created for Loadsmart, Balaroti, Age Nutrilatina, Regenerate Pro, and Prodiet.
Loadsmart — Dynamic Freight Pricing
Loadsmart is a US logistics company. They asked me to create an animation explaining their Dynamic Freight Pricing service.
I illustrated and animated the piece, showing how a shipment is matched to the best carrier bid automatically, in a simple, easy-to-follow way. I also exported it as a Lottie file to be used on their website, which allows for a smaller file size and better performance than a video.
The animation is still live on their website (2026).
Loadsmart — PortPass
Loadsmart also asked me to create three animations introducing a new service they were developing: PortPass. These animations would be applied in a carousel with text at the top of a landing page.
I first created the digital illustrations using references and color schemes provided by the client, then animated them in Adobe After Effects.
PortPass idea was to provide trucking fleets with a faster, more efficient way to move through the port.
I illustrated two of its features: ExpressGrid fast-tracks a fleet's way in and out of the port with expedited access; And FreeFlow reserves a stack of containers exclusively for the fleet's trucks.
Balaroti
Balaroti is a Brazilian construction materials retailer. I created a series of 20 motion graphic animations for their social media channels.
Age Nutrilatina
Age Nutrilatina is a Latin American supplements brand. I created a series of 20 motion graphics for their social media channels.
Regenerate Pro
Regenerate Pro was a brand of supplements launched in Brazil. I created a series of 12 motion graphics for their social media channels.
Prodiet
Prodiet is a Latin American medical nutrition brand. I created a series of motion graphics for their social media channels, plus a longer-form video for an institutional presentation.
