Context
Enkontra.com launched in October 2014 as a classifieds marketplace by Grupo Paranaense de Comunicação (GRPCOM) (Brazil), where people could buy and sell houses, apartments, cars, electronics, and more, combining listings from Gazeta do Povo, Tribuna, and Paraná Online.
The proposal for this new interface was "hassle-free rental". Unlike Airbnb, the site works around long-term contracts, and the main goal was to simplify the rental process as much as possible, cutting down on paperwork and bureaucracy.
Our team designed the full flow — a landing page built to convert, a search experience with map and filters, a property page detailed enough to rent sight-unseen, a guided multi-step rental process, and a panel for owners to manage their listings and talk to prospective tenants — generating more than 40 screens in total.
Landing page
The new landing page is cleaner, with bigger images and less text, and leads with "Your dream home, however and wherever you need it".
The main feature is a search bar that lets people search by tags — such as family, pool, countryside, and great view — instead of rigid filters, focusing on the experience a property offers rather than just its specs.
This page includes a section with the featured listings by neighborhood.
The client also asked us to include a Haus section, connecting this rental site with their decoration portal.

Search & filters
The new design simplified the search and filtering experience. Results can be refined by area, price, and minimum stay, or browsed directly on a map — useful for renters who care more about location than any single spec.

Property page
The new design breaks each listing down room by room — bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, living room — with its own photos and details. It also includes a chat where logged-in users can ask the owner questions directly without leaving the page.

Rental process
Renting a property is a guided, six-step flow. This step lets the renter pick their move-in and move-out dates against the owner's minimum stay, then choose between paying month to month or paying the full period upfront for a discount.
Owner panel
Owners get their own management panel to track views and proposals on each listing, reply to renter questions and manage visits.
Conclusion
Together with Rafael and Vinicius, we delivered in a month a full redesign of Enkontra's rental experience — more than 40 screens covering the landing page, search, property details, rental flow, and the owner's management panel.
The result turned a traditionally bureaucratic process into a guided, self-service flow. Besides that, the link to Haus opened the door for renters to decorate their dream home right after signing.
